WALTON COUNTY FIRE RESCUE TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL SAVE A LIFE SATURDAY

WALTON COUNTY, FLA— Walton County Fire Rescue invites the public and media to attend Save a Life Saturday, a free, interactive community safety event on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Northwest Florida State College’s DeFuniak Springs Campus.
Save a Life Saturday is designed to bring families, first responders, and community partners together for a fun and educational morning focused on lifesaving skills, safety awareness, and community resources. The event will feature food trucks, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive activities led by local first responders and partner agencies.
This year’s event will also include a special opportunity to save a life through adoption. The Walton County Animal Shelter will be on site with adoptable dogs, giving attendees the chance to meet potential new pets and provide a loving home for an animal in need.
