FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PENSACOLA, FL – [November 18, 2025] – The Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation proudly announces that its two fall signature events—the Garden Gala in Niceville and Groove & Give with The Mulligans in Pensacola—collectively raised over $119,000 to support abused, abandoned, and neglected children in foster care across Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties.
These critical funds directly benefit more than 1,500 children that the Foundation serves annually, helping meet essential needs that state funding cannot such as clothing, therapeutic services, educational enrichment, extracurricular activities, dental and medical necessities, and other support that allows children to thrive during uncertain times.
The Garden Gala invited the community into an evening of elegance and purpose inside The Shop at Baldwin Turf in Niceville on Sunday, October 26, 2025. The venue was transformed into a warm, intimate gathering space where guests enjoyed elevated wines from Thompson 31 Fifty Wines, local craft beer provided by Third Planet Brewery, delicious dining from Townsend Catering, live music, a lively wine pull, and a silent art auction. Each moment from shared conversations to spirited bidding reflected a collective commitment to supporting the region’s most vulnerable children. By night’s end, the Gala had raised an impressive $38,232, providing vital, ongoing support for foster youth throughout Northwest Florida.
The Foundation then hosted its newest signature fundraising event, Groove & Give with The Mulligans, presented by Sandy Sansing Dealerships, on Friday, November 7, 2025, at The Sanctuary Event Venue in Pensacola. The high-energy evening transported guests back to the golden era of Rock ’n’ Roll as The Mulligans performed timeless hits from The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, The Eagles, Billy Joel, and more. Attendees enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres by Culinary Productions, libations hosted by Tap the Coast, a lively paddle pull, a dynamic live auction, and a night full of dancing—all contributing to the event’s remarkable $80,910 fundraising total.
With combined proceeds exceeding $119,000, The Garden Gala and Groove & Give with the Mulligans events underscore the deep commitment of Northwest Florida’s communities to supporting foster children across the four-county region the Foundation serves.
“This community continues to show up for our children in the most extraordinary ways,” said Virginia Davis, President of the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation. “Raising over $119,000 across these two events speaks volumes about the heart of our region. Every dollar helps us provide stability, dignity, and opportunity to children navigating the foster care system. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or partnered with us.”
The Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to all sponsors, partners, volunteers, and attendees whose support ensures that local foster children have the stability, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
