HVAC Lead Installer at Mills Heating & Air

Mills Heating & Air is seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Lead Installer to join our team for the 30A and Freeport area. Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and a strong background in residential and/or commercial installation. As the Lead Installer, you will oversee and participate in the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of HVAC installers on installation projects for residential and/or commercial properties.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation procedures.
• Install, inspect, and test HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Train and mentor apprentice installers on proper techniques and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of job progress, materials used, and any changes in scope.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and other trades on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in real time.
• Ensure job sites are clean and safe at all times.
• Manage tools, materials, and equipment efficiently.

 
**Qualifications:**
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Physical ability to work in a rigorous environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency
- Ownership of HVAC tools
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- 3 to 5 years of HVAC installation experience
- Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
