Volunteer Days for Habitat for Humanity

SAT April 23 & SUN May 1

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Habitat for Humanity of Walton County provides lumber and labor for Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation's live auction event every year. DCWAF raised over $2M in 2015 for 14 charities helping local children, including Habitat.

We need 75 VOLUNTEERS EACH DAY to assist us on Saturday, April 23rd and Sunday, May 1st. Every volunteer who gives 4 consecutive hours either day will receive a FREE TICKET to the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival on Sunday, May 1!

VOLUNTEER DETAILS
1. To sign up, email admin@waltoncountyhabitat.org or call (850) 660-1681.
2. What to Wear/Bring: Comfortable work clothes, steel toed shoes (suggested), and (if you have) a Phillips Head Cordless Drill.
3. Volunteers who give 4 consecutive hours must sign in and out to redeem FREE $85 ticket to wine festival on Sunday, May 1 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Date: April 23, 2016
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Grand Boulevard Shopping Center at Sandestin (behind Tommy Bahamas)
What: Build the floor for the DCAWF live auction event. Lay 600 sheets of plywood and secure with screws.

Date: May 1, 2016
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Grand Boulevard Shopping Center at Sandestin (behind Tommy Bahamas)
What: Dismantle floor from DCWAF live auction event. Take up the plywood and place it in bales for movement.
