The Sandestin Gumbo Festival is one of the most popular winter food events along Florida’s Emerald Coast where the area’s best chefs compete for bragging rights with gumbo and Bloody Mary showdowns. The festival returns to The Village of Baytowne Wharf for a weekend of festivities and delicious food on February 24 - 25. 
 
The weekend kicks off on Friday, February 24 from 4 - 7 p.m. with a delicious seafood boil at Hammerhead’s Bar & Grille, complete with live music and great company. At noon on Saturday, February 25 The Village will come alive with live music and funky beats from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe, tons of family-friendly activities and the best gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast.
