South Walton Run/SUP Series 2016

Mark your calendars for the South Walton Run/SUP Series 2016!

Entering it's second year with a huge surge in popularity, Run/SUP is the perfect sports competition for our area, combining a 2 mile beach and dune run with a 2 mile paddle across beautiful Western Lake in Grayton Beach State Park. 

Packet Pick-Up will be at the Craft Bar 30A on Friday, September 23, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
 

-Check-In for race begins at 8am Saturday morning in Grayton Beach State Park.

-Competitive Race launches at 9 a.m.

-Recreational Race 1 launches at 10:15 a.m.

-Recreational Race 2 launches at 11:30 a.m.

-Recreational Family Race launches at 12:45 p.m.

-All races will be completed by 2:00 p.m.

The award ceremony/after party will also take place at the Craft Bar 30A immediately following the Run/SUP Series with an open bar, food, and entertainment!     

Important Info

Recreational and Recreational Family Races are open to everyone ages 8 and up. The Competitive Race features athletes familiar with SUP and Run/SUP style competition, and will be required to provide their own SUP board to compete. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of this race.

Board rentals are available to the Recreational and Recreational Family competitors for an additional $30.

If you're registering for any of the Recreational Races please register for the TIME you would like to participate. Race times are 9:00, 10:15, 11:30 and 12:45.
      
There will be multiple raffles ongoing throughout the day.

The first is made up of ALL Run/SUP Series entries and gives each an opportunity at winning a custom Run/SUP brand SUP Board courtesy of Run/SUP at the Boathouse Paddle Club.

The second will be open to all and will be for a Bote paddleboard courtesy of Gulfwind Paddle and Surf, with additional prizes (Yeti cups, gift cards, merchandise) available to win. Raffle tickets will sell 3 for $20 and 1 for $10 for the entire event. Winners will be announced at the Craft Bar 30A Awards Ceremony/After Party.
