The Emerald Coast Health Institute is a 21st century primary care health system built on the model we call 'patient-controlled medical home.' A traditional family medicine clinic uses a 'patient-centered medical home' model. The difference is evolutionary in that we believe every possible medical resource should be available to the patient for making decisions that optimize personalized health. This involves evidence-based medicine, complementary medicine, the latest portal technology, and the ability to communicate with your provider 24/7. Our mission is to lessen or eliminate barriers to the patient having control over their health.
