Race for the ARTS

Join the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation for the 2nd Annual Race for the Arts on November 3. The race will include a 5K run/walk and a 1 mile kid’s fun run. This fundraiser will benefit cultural arts and student educational outreach programs serving Okaloosa and Walton counties in Northwest Florida.

The race course features an out and back route beginning near the entrance of the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, located at 4323 Commons Drive West behind Grace Lutheran Church. Race participants will run east on Commons Drive before winding through the residential golf community of Kelly Plantation. This flat course is suitable for runners and walkers of all experience levels from beginners to advanced. The finish line will lead to the post-race celebration featuring music, door prizes, refreshments, beer, massage therapy, kid’s activities and more.

Race registration is now open and will remain open through the morning of the race. Participants may register online through Active.com, or by completing and retuning the paper registration form to the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, 4323 Commons Drive W., Destin, FL 32541.
