Give BIG Music Festival

The Village of Destin is coordinating an all day music festival to raise money for the World Food Program. The event will take place at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Resort on Saturday, April 4th, 2009. Local bands will perform throughout the day, donating their time and talents. Bob Marley's legendary reggae band, The Wailers, will close out the fundraising event that evening. ALL ticket proceeds will go to Friends of the World Food Program, the U.S. based non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing resources and building support for the World Food Program. Children under 12 attending the event will be asked to bring a canned food item and child sized toothbrushes to aid local charities.
