Free Shingles Clinic

The greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee and Professional Health Examiners will host a Shingles clinic, Thursday August 6th from 11:30 to 1:00pm at the Ft. Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce in the conference room. Vivian Krumel, RN will be on hand to give an educational seminar and answer questions about the Shingles disease and its vaccine. If you have had chickenpox, and more than 90 percent of Americans have, you're at risk for shingles. Shingles is most common in adults over the age of 60, and over 500,000 people a year in the United States are affected by the disease.
