Backpack 2 School

Silver Sands Factory Stores has partnered with Destiny Worship Center for the 10th Annual Backpack 2 School program.  Over 1,100 local children have been registered to receive assistance for the upcoming school year.

The program provides children in need with a backpack of school supplies, new shoes and a haircut.  Destiny Worship Center is encouraging the sponsorship of a child for $50 so that the correct shoes and supplies can be purchased based on that particular child's needs.  Donations of shoes, backpacks and school supplies are also being accepted.
