Alaqua Spring Bazaar - Mega Yard Sale

Alaqua Animal Refuge is hosting a Spring Bazaar at their new Welcome Center in Freeport, Florida on Saturday, May 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The unique ‘mega yard sale’ marketplace will feature home décor, furniture, housewares, silver, linens, high end clothing, purses, jewelry, artwork, pet supplies, and more! The Spring Bazaar benefits Alaqua and its many services and programs to forward its mission to provide shelter, safety, and second chances to the many animals that come to them in need of help. Dr. Amy Williams, a retired Alaqua veterinarian, is heading up the Bazaar with the help of many volunteers and staff. “It is going to be a great day to come out and support Alaqua and get a sneak peek inside the new facility at the same time,” said Dr. Williams. Attendees will be able to stroll through the New Orleans’ inspired courtyard inside the Welcome Center and find all types of items that were donated by local businesses and individuals. Some noteworthy items include sets of sterling silver goblets, teapots, coffee pots, trays, and water pitchers; vinyl records in tip top shape; original artworks – both large and small; men’s and ladies’ hats; beautiful furniture pieces; and unique lighting accessories. The Bazaar will also have a bake sale, raffles, and a food truck on-site. Bring the family and make it a fun day at the Refuge!
