2023 Emerald Coast Duck Regatta

Sacred Heart Guild to Host Tenth Emerald Coast Duck Regatta on June 17, 2023 MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (June 5, 2023) – Save the date for this year’s tenth annual Emerald Coast Duck Regatta on Saturday, June 17 benefiting Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Guild. The event features fun activities for the whole family, including Nonie’s Ark Animal Encounters, Abrakadoodle face painters, a scavenger hunt, Hula-Hoop contest, and access to the Baytowne Carousel for children 12 and under from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Family events begin at 9 a.m., and the duck race begins at 1:00 p.m. During the event approximately 3,000 ducks will race across the Lagoon at the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Prizes will be awarded to the owners of the first ducks to cross the finish line, including a $3,000 first place prize! Ducks are available for adoption at the Sacred Heart Guild Gift Shop in Miramar Beach, online at www.emeraldcoastduckregatta.com or at Baytowne Wharf the day of the event. Make a donation of $10 or more to the Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Guild to adopt a duck. Adopt one duck for $10, three ducks for $27, six ducks for $50 or 12 ducks for $100. Proceeds from this year’s Duck Regatta event will benefit the Sacred Heart Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Event net proceeds will fund eight (8) NeoPuff Infant T-Piece Resuscitators. The Resuscitators are small enough to place at every bedside in our NICU. They support infants who forget to breathe, or experience some form of respiratory distress, and need immediate help.
