2013 Festival of Tree in Grand Boulevard

Grand Boulevard’s fourth annual “Festival of Trees” will showcase more than a dozen uniquely decorated Christmas trees from area non-profit organizations, Nov. 26 – Dec. 25 in Grand Park. The public is invited to attend the kick-off on Tuesday, November 26, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. as the trees are lighted, judged on their decorations and winners are announced at 6 p.m. “Festival of Trees” is free and open to the public.

The non-profit organizations are competing to win cash prizes totaling $5,000, including Best of Show and People’s Choice. Best of Show and Second Place winners will be announced at the kick-off, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. For the People’s Choice Award, the public can vote for their favorite tree once a day. The tree with the most votes will win the People’s Choice award, which will be announced by Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. in Grand Park.
